EFFICIENT GROUP DELAY EQUALIZATION OF DISCRETE-TIME IIR FILTERS (TueAmPO1)

Abstract : A novel methodology for estimating the optimum pole allocation of allpass group delay equalizers with real coefficients is introduced. A computer-aided algorithm, whose input is this initial estimate, is developed. Results verifying the effectiveness of the proposed approach are presented and compared to other procedures described in the literature.
