Provision’s Fellow, Karam Naser, was selected as the winner for a 3 Minutes Thesis (3MT) contest. The competition among the 4 finalists took place on 31st of August 2016 at the EUSIPCO 2016 conference in Budapest.
PhD in 3 minutes is a feature of the European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO). The Technical Program Committee of EUSIPCO 2016 has offered a 3 Minutes Thesis (3MT) contest, where PhD students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. After the short presentations the audience were asked to vote for the best, and their votes are averaged with the jury's opinion. After collecting the votes, Karam Naser was identified as the winner of this contest.
