EURASIP BoD Elections |
EURASIP BoD Elections
EURASIP is managed by the Board of Directors (BoD). EURASIP BoD
elections are held every two years. The EURASIP General Assembly
confirms the BoD election results and appointments. All elected BoD
members serve a three year term.
On December 31st, 2018, four current BoD voting members will end their
term (Fernando Pereira, Jean-Luc Dugelay, Alle-Jan van der Veen and
Abdelhak Zoubir, who will become a non-voting member of the BoD as
Past-President).
The biographies of the candidates that appear on the 2018 election ballot can be found here.
An electronic procedure will be used to collect votes and the results will be announced
during the Opening Ceremony of EUSIPCO 2018, Rome, Italy, on Tuesday morning September 4.
Electronic voting starts on Friday July 6, 2018 and ends on Saturday August 25, 2018.
To cast their votes, EURASIP members are invited to visit the membership server, log in and follow the link to “Elections 2018”.
Each voter casts exactly four weighted votes, with weights 4 (1st choice), 3 (2nd choice), 2 (3rd choice) and 1 (4th choice) respectively.
When votes are properly registered,
a confirmation e-mail is sent to the address in the membership profile. Electronic voting takes place in a manner that preserves voter anonymity.
Questions related to the voting procedure may be sent to membership@eurasip.org
